Laurence Butet-Roch is a photographer and writer pursuing my PhD in Environmental Studies at York University. Building on her previous experiences, her research considers how to visually bear witness to environmental injustices, especially industrial contamination, without further rendering certain communities and habitats expendable and pollutable.
